The stage at St Mary’s Church Whitkirk Community Centre is a proscenium arch with thrust.
All dimensions are approximate. Dimensions represent total usable space.
Back wall to front of thrust (curtain open): 420cm (14ft)
Back wall to front curtain (curtain closed): 310cm (10ft)
Front curtain to front of thrust (curtain closed): 90cm (3ft)
The usable width of the stage, including the thrust, is 580cm (19ft)
The usable height under the proscenium is 240cm (8ft).
The maximum usable height on stage is 300cm (10ft).

Masking is provided by four rotating flats.
Hard power points are available in the following locations:
There is no hard power available in front of the proscenium arch.
Access is available via steps to both sides of the stage, with a crossover between the two sides possible using the Smeaton Room.
Access is available via steps to both sides of the thrust from the dancefloor in the Main Hall.
There is no wheelchair or lift access to the stage.
There is no facility for overhead flying or rigging without prior arrangement with the Community Centre’s technical team.
